Bringing books to life

 Edpuzzle has proved to be just the right thing for bringing books to life, flipping lessons, encouraging children to start reading, to read for pleasure and develop their reading and writing skills.

Here are a few interactive videos I've created and shared with my Class 4 students:
- St Patrick's Day;
- Earth Day Every Day;
- The Rainbow Fish
.

I hope your students will enjoy these stories, too.

Food

 The Food topic where my Class 4 students were supposed to review food items, and also countable and uncountable nouns, use different web tools and improve their language, collaboration and digital skills, planned to be organised at school, in stations, had to move online.

First, I asked them to join the online survey and write their favourite food. Then, I shared with them the video, and a number of online games I created, including the example of an online text about a favourite sandwich they could use to decribe their favourite sandwich or write their own recipes.

- online flashcards game;

- sorting game;

- matching game;

- multiple choice game;

- guessing game;

- matching game.

Easter Challenges

My Class 4 students accepted and really enjoyed this year's Easter Challenges. I'm sharing just a few of their works.

They made Easter bunnies using socks and paper rolls, Easter baskets and pompom chicks, an Easter Egg collage, a mobile with several Easter symbols, decorated their Easter hats, created Easter cards and baked Easter muffins.

We also sent online Easter cards to each other.

Telling the Time

 Some time ago my older students created a few online games using LearningApps to help their friends solve the problems with telling the time.

 I've recently shared these games with my younger students and they enjoyed playing them:

- What's the time? - match the clock with the time;

- What time is it? - choose the correct time;

- What's the time? - match the times with the phrases;

- past or to - put the time into the correct group.

Hope your students will find them useful, too.
